What Will You Be Doing?Flight Ops - Administrative Assistant - Provide Support for Flight Operations Programs and Initiatives

Essential Functions

  • Provide Administrative support to the Chief Pilot Office and Pilot group
  • Effectively communicate company goals/objectives to Pilots
  • Become proficient in UltiPro, CrewTrac and SharePoint
  • Assist in tracking on-time performance, LOA, dependability, employee badging, probationary employees
  • Assist with coordinating Pilot retirement, terminations, and resignations with all departments
  • Assist with coordination of leave requests (ie., jury duty)
  • Process passport letters, requests
  • Manage parking for your airport
  • Airport signatory for badging
  • Track office supply inventory and place orders
  • Assist with internal database inquiries
  • Manage the general organization and cleanliness of the office and crew room at your base
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Minimal 3 years of being progressively responsible for office administration or similar experience
  • Airport/Airline experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Possess excellent communication skills to include ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner with all company personnel as well as outside agency representatives.
  • Ability to problem-solve and react positively to all types of difficult situations.
  • Knowledge of common desktop applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills, preferred.

  • Computer/laptop
  • Copier
  • Shipping tools

Work Environment

  • Monday through Friday with some weekends
  • On-call from time to time
  • Travel as needed for work and conventions.

Physical Effort

  • Generally, not required.
  • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
