The Legend of Zelda: Supernova Within [M] - Zelda Universe Forums (2024)

Hello everyone! I've been thinking of doing a Zelda Fanfic for a crazy long time. Now, I read the rules and everything but I'm still probably going to break some, just because I'm stupid or something (Not on purpose!)

This is a fic that has multiple other characters from other games in it, and it's not limited to Nintendo. I'm not sure if it's okay that it includes these things for this site, so if it's against the rules, please delete it! The Legend of Zelda: Supernova Within [M] - Zelda Universe Forums (1)

So, erm. It's Mature...violence and what have you. Also, I have this going on Fanfiction.net as well. I figured I could post them both. Graveyard Denial - FanFiction.Net is my link.

“What are you looking at, freak show?” The irritable guard questioned the prisoner. He sat upright and proper as usual, with a clever smile. It made the guard nervous.

“How's the family?” The voice croaked from the cell.

“None of your goddamn business!” The guard snapped. He slammed his nightstick against the steel bars. This drew a bigger smile from the prisoner. “You sick ****. Why we don't just put you to death is beyond me.” The guard spit into the cell. “If it was up to me, I'd put a bullet in your skull right now.”

“Careful.” The prisoner said, moving his finger back and forth. “Too much love can make a guy crazy. You should stop being so nice.” This made the guard grit his teeth in anger.

“I swear to God. I've had to sit here every ****ing day for five months making sure you don't break out. I'm sick of you. You don't deserve to live. You're just a lowlife creep.” The prisoner stood up and approached the bars. He smiled.

“Y'know... I think you have a bigger bark than a bite. I plan on finding out one of these days. We'll see how tough you are when we're on the same side of the fence and I'm left without a leash.” He then pretended to lunge at the guard, who leaped backwards. The prisoner stepped away from the bars and sat back down, but he had what he wanted. He had pulled the keys straight off the guards belt without him noticing. Five months... he thought. That should be enough time for them to have calmed down. They don't expect me anymore... Perfect.

Suddenly a siren broke out and red lights began to flash. A voice on an intercom said “We have a breach, we have a breach. All guards be on lookout.” The guard cursed to himself and drew his handgun before taking off down the hallway. That couldn't have gone better if I planned it. The prisoner stood up and opened the cell door.

Screams and gunfire could be heard throughout the asylum along with cries from guards. The prisoner gleefully trotted down the hallway, waving to other prisoners. He reached the room where they kept the prisoners' belongings and reclaimed what was his. He flipped the switchblade excitedly.

The guard shot at the tall man with flowing white hair, but the bullets seemed to freeze and shatter on impact. He watched the man twirl a sword around like a toy and impale a guard only to turn around, grab another guard by the head and squeeze it until a sick pop was heard and blood shot upward like a fountain. With another large swing three more guards were completely cut in half as their blood sprayed about. This was too much, and the guard turned to run.

He ran down the halls of the asylum gasping, sick to his stomach from what he had just seen. He stopped when he rounded a corner and put his hands on his knees to help collect himself. “You look sick, Bill.” A voice came from the corner. Suddenly the prisoner broke from the shadows and grabbed the guard by his throat. He pulled a switchblade up to his face.

“Have I ever told you how I got these...” He ran his tongue around his lips “...scars?” He smiled with a homicidal look in his eye. “It's a funny story. Y'see when I was a young little sprout I had an older neighbor that always made fun of me. Called me a freak. But I looked up to him. One day, he and his friends...they say they're going to the woods to play. They ask if I want to come. So there we are, just walking through the woods until we get to something hanging from a tree. It was my dog. It had multiple...stab wounds from a pair of scissors. They killed my dog.” His grip around the guards throat tightened. “So I didn't want to cry in front of these cool, uh, big kids. So I smiled at them. I wanted to be cool like them. They didn't like me smiling. Not...one...bit... 'Stop it, freak!' they said, but I wanted to be cool. Like them. Cool kids don't cry. So they took the scissors...and they did this to make me stop smiling...” He gave the guard a huge smile that nearly reached his ears. “It didn't work.” With a vicious movement the prisoner, now a free man, raked his switchblade across the guards neck, sending blood splashing out of his throat.

He made his way through the prison to the room where the noise was coming from. At least twenty bodies were mangled on the floor. The prisoner spotted a large bright light stretched open like a doorway. It was a portal. Well now...that's interesting. He slowly stepped over the bits and pieces of bodies toward the portal. He stared into it for a few moments before smiling.

“Opportunities, opportunities...” He looked down beside him at the head of the commissioner. He let a sarcastic sound of pity escape his lips. Then the portal began to slowly shrink. In amusem*nt he stared at it before taking another step toward it. “Well...goodbye Gotham. Goodbye, Batboy.” And he entered it.

Link opened his eyes to the night skies around him. Everything was silent and peaceful. He sat leaning against a bale of hay while Epona slept a few yards away. Off in the distance he could see Death Mountain. He smiled when he thought of Darunia. He was almost a father to Link, or at the very least a “crazy” uncle.

“Ah!” Link pressed a hand to his skull. A trail of thoughts, memories and images flooded into his mind. He hunched over in pain, but it quickly dispersed. “Ugh...more...” Since Link had declined Zelda's proposition to return him to the past, he began receiving memories that he would have had. Sometimes this was so drastic that actual items were found in his house the next morning. He moved his jaw around. “Tatl...” He smiled. “What a crazy fairy.”

He looked into the sky. “I wonder where Navi is.” She had returned to Kokiri village and was living there, but Link could never find her. He took the ocarina Saria had given him out of his knapsack. He began to play his own melody that he had made up. He was very content, and Hyrule was very peaceful.

It had been four years since Link defeated Ganondorf and sealed him into the Sacred Realm. These years were perhaps the most peaceful the land of Hyrule had ever seen. The crime rate had plummeted due to fear of having to face the “Hero of Time.” There was still the occasional monster who just wanted to be a monster, and the occasional thief who thought he was too sly for words.

Link held the same appearance he had when he defeated Ganondorf. The only difference in that his hair was much shaggier, and covered his eyes when unkempt.

His eyes slowly made their way to the Hyrule Castle. It was indeed majestic. His heart thumped in his chest at the sight of the upper spire, where Zelda slept. It so happened that he was on the route to the castle so he could finally tell Zelda about his feelings for her. It was apparent to everyone in the kingdom that the two were madly in love with one another, but Zelda and Link played dumb. Both of them were too nervous to even mention it to each other until now.

He tilted his head back onto the hay bale and closed his eyes. The weather was beautiful with not a single cloud in the sky. The endless stars in the sky lit up Hyrule with a pale glow as the full moon hung in the air, as if by a wire. A cool wind blew through all the flowers in a wave. Link opened his eyes to the scene. These, he thought, were the most perfect moments in life.

He admired Epona as she slept a few yards away. The shine from the stars dripped off her coat and bounced through the grass. He inhaled the summer air. “Ah, ****. I should probably get to sleep.” He slumped over and put most of his weight against the hay bale. He drifted into sleep.

“Who the **** are you?” Nabooru screamed toward the hooded figure as it pulled a blade from a Gerudo. The figure turned to her and said nothing. She grabbed a smaller sword off the nearby wall. “What do you want?” Her voice was fiery. “Who the **** are you?!” A deep, closed-lip laughter escaped the hood. “I swear to the Goddesses! I will slit your ****ing throat!” As soon as this threat was ended the figure had her pinned against a wall. It was obviously male.

The large hand of the figure gripped her throat. She gagged and kicked, trying to break herself from his grip. She finally mustered a sloppy “What do you want?” The figure leaned in close to her so that the heat from his breath licked her face. With his free hand he removed the hood. Nabooru's eyes grew large in awe.

“What do I want?” The grip was tightened on her neck. He wrapped his other hand around her throat and lifted her into the air. “I want revenge. And I'm starting with you.” She gagged as every opening in her throat was cut off. He leaned in even closer, so that his words stepped straight into her ear. “You were such an attractive slu*t. It's a shame I have to kill you. I hope in your last moments you felt nothing but fear. Nothing but the lust for death. Do you want to die right now?”

Nabooru's lungs were on the verge of bursting. He gently kissed her cheek. “Your wish, is my command.” He raised her as high as he could in the air as she struggled. He cackled maniacally. His fingers dug into her skin and neck. His laughter filled the night. Then, even with all the laughter, a prominent sound shattered the night. A sick, disgusting sound. A sage's neck and broken to pieces from the grasp of the figure.

“One down.”
