Car Show

The Archer by Taylor Swift echoed through Parker's room. She hummed peacefully to herself while cutting a few pieces of paper up - glue, glitter, crayons, and tape sat on her bed.

Her phone suddenly began to ring and she didn't even need to look to know it was Jenna. Mindlessly answering it, her predictions were proven right when Jenna's voice rang through her ears now, overpowering her song.

"Hey, baby!" From what Parker could hear, Jenna was driving. "I'm on my way over, I thought we could go out and do something."

Parker looked around her bed with a bit of a frozen expression. She had been planning on making Jenna homemade paper flowers in a bouquet. Now that would need to be put on hold. "Uh- sure, yeah, I'd love that."

"Great! I'll see you soon." Jenna blew a kiss before hanging up. Parker chuckled to herself while beginning to pack her supplies up, hiding the progress she already had done in her desk drawer. Kiss It Off Me by Cigarettes After Sex began playing and she quietly sang while changing out of her pj's.

She slipped on a black long sleeve with a grunge-gray looking shirt over it. Army green cargo shorts as well and some high top black converse as well. She threw on some jewelry that Jenna gave her alongside the matching bracelet she and Emma had before grabbing her messenger back and walking out the door. But not before turning her speaker off.

"Hey, what're you up to?" Avery asked from the couch, her head thrown back on it as she watched from an upside down view, Parker walking through the halls to the door.

"Jenna's taking me on a date." The younger girl smiled and reached for her house keys. "Won't be home for a few hours, I love you!"

"Love you too!" Avery called back just in time before Parker shut the door. When the Myers girl reached the bottom step, she saw Jenna pull up in her BMW.

"We're riding in style today?" Parker smiled as Jenna reached over the center console to open her door for her.

"Yep, I thought you'd like it." Jenna ran her hands along the smooth steering wheel. Parker shut her door and chuckled while plugging in her phone to the AUX.

"I love it." She kissed the actress' cheek. "You look really good in it." She began to scroll through her playlist before playing some Reneé Rapp.

"Oh, yeah?" Jenna flashed her girlfriend a smile while keeping her eyes on the road as they took off. Parker hummed and reached over to hold Jenna's free hand in her lap.

"Definitely." Both girls shared a giggle, their smiles not fading once as they reached their destination. Parker looked around to see that they were at a car show. "No way..."

Jenna knew how much Parker admired cars. She grew up playing with Hot Wheels so the Myers girl always enjoyed looking at cool or classic cars. "You like it?"

"Like it? Jen, I love it!" Parker excitedly grabbed Jenna's arm and dragged her away, the latter grunting with a smile as they pushed their way through the gates to find a spot. Parker spotted a few convertibles from the 1960's.

"What's that one?" Jenna pointed towards a silver/blueish colored car.

Parker grabbed her hand and looked over to where Jenna pointed. "That's a 1950 Bel Air Lowrider." The girl then looked to her side to see all the muscle cars. "That's a 1992 Dodge Viper. Ooh, and that's Pontiac GTO."

"Tell me more about them." Jenna admired the way Parker began ranting on and on about these cars that she had no clue about. Sure, Jenna wasn't all that interested in cars like Parker was, but she sure as hell loved hearing the girl ramble about her expertise and love for them.

"I'd say today was a great day." Jenna sighed contently as she and Parker sat on one of the park benches with street tacos in front of them. They decided to go around the area where the car show was after it was done. They stopped by Target and Jenna spoiled her girlfriend like crazy.

Parker finished the small amount of food that was in her mouth before talking. "I agree. Thank you for today, baby." Their hands interlocked across the table, a grin on their faces.

"Anything for you." Jenna leaned over to kiss Parker's cheek, the latter blushing furiously. "Alright, let's get you home before it gets dark. I don't need your sisters on my ass."

Parker laughed in agreement, standing up and throwing away their trash. "You're absolutely right." Parker stood up and jumped on Jenna's back, the slightly taller girl grunting as she took a moment to steadily hold her. "Onwards and upwards!"

"Whatever you want, my majesty." Jenna joked with a playful roll of her eyes but it was worth to hear Parker's nonstop, cute giggling.
